FAMILY sessions
FULL SESSION
This session is the ultimate way to capture a large variety of images for your family. It's a relaxed pace that allows us to explore an area or even hit up multiple locations. We capture posed images, but also a strong variety of candid ones.
Do your kids love a certain activity, like baseball? Bring their bats and gloves, and we'll capture them doing what they love as part of the session. This session allows us to get to know your family better, so can help bring out your personalities even more in the images.
You receive all of the edited images from your session, so there's no stress over choosing your top favorites. You receive them all! You also may choose the location for your session. Not sure where you'd like to go? Just let us know the vibe you're going for (downtown, park, etc.), and we can suggest a spot! Don't want to choose at all? No problem, either. We've got you and are happy to choose the location.

Half SESSION
MOST POPULAR! This session has quickly become a fan favorite. It's the perfect amount of time to capture a large variety of images of your family, providing you with a robust photo gallery to choose from. We get a mix of posed and candid images and have some fun while doing it. We capture full family photos, as well as individuals of the children. This session is easy on little ones, too, as it gives them some time to play and doesn't stretch their attention spans too long. We'll work with you to determine a location that fits the vibe you're interested in for your session.

Extended family SESSION
We love extended families! You can choose either the Half Session or the Full Session to capture your extended family together. The most popular option is the Half Session with purchase of the full gallery. Nick and I both come from larger families, and it's important to us to keep these packages accessible for families no matter the size.

Express SESSION
NEW! This is the ultimate fast photoshoot. This is perfect for the family wanting just a few photos or who have some family members who aren't as excited about getting their photos taken and prefer a very short session ;) It might be surprising that it can take only 10 minutes, but after years of doing these ultra-fast sessions with our own child, it's a skill we've honed well.
You will receive a gallery to choose from, and three images are included. Additional may be purchased.

MINI SESSIOn
Seasonally, we offer 20-minute mini sessions. We host a mini-session event each fall and sometimes during other times of the year. These are a great way to receive a variety of images in a shorter time frame. We'll post available time slots, with the last slots available around sunset time. This is one of our best value offerings, which is made possible by conducting these back-to-back as part of an event.

COMMON QUESTIONS
How will we receive our photos?
We will send you a link to an online gallery on our website. The gallery will contain all of the high-resolution images included with your session. You can download the entire gallery, as well as share the gallery with friends and family. Galleries will be available for 2 weeks after your shoot, so be sure to download all of your images before then!
When will we receive our photos?
For family sessions, expect to receive your images about 2 weeks after the photoshoot.
For weddings, expect to receive your images 4-6 weeks after your wedding day.
Where are you based and do you travel?
We are based in Lawrence, Kansas, but offer services in Topeka and Kansas City, as well! So if you are located in any of these areas, we can help you!
We also have roots in Nebraska, so often offer pop-up sessions in Lincoln and Hastings, NE.
Wanting us to travel somewhere else?We love to travel and are absolutely open to traveling for your session! A travel fee may apply.
For weddings, we have traveled to numerous other states — from Florida to Michigan to South Carolina — for destination weddings.
What should we wear for our session?
We know this can be the toughest part about booking a session!
Our two main tips are to:
1) WEAR SOMETHING YOU FEEL GOOD IN.
If you feel self-conscious in whatever you are wearing, it can affect your shoot. So, wear what you feel great in!
2) WEAR SOMETHING YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE IN.
This especially applies to dressing your kids. If someone hates what they are wearing because it's uncomfortable, it can cause challenges on the day of the shoot. Comfortable kids are happier kids!
That said, finding outfits that coordinate colors but aren't all the exact same are a great recipe for success. All neutrals are a great option, too. There are always some great inspirational boards on Pinterest, as well.
